Position: Spanish Translator

Location: Centennial (Metro Denver), Colorado



Main Duties:

-          Translate from English into Spanish.
-          Occasional work into English is possible.
-          Editing and proofreading.
-          Terminology management.
-          Translation memory maintenance.


Education, Skills and Experience:


-          Must be native speaker of Spanish with very strong, 
near-native 
English skills.
-          Must be creative and adept at marketing-type translations.

-          Excellent organizational skills.
-          Excellent oral and written communications.
-          Excellent interpersonal skills.
-          Must be very detail oriented.
-          Excellent computer skills and very good knowledge of MS 

Office 
(Outlook, Word, Excel,     PowerPoint)
-          Self-starter and proactive.
-          Flexible and able to meet deadlines.
-          Customer service oriented.
-          Work well under client pressure.

-          Must be a strong team player.
-          A few years of translation experience are highly desirable, 
but 
we will consider talented translators just starting out if many of the 
other 
qualifications are met.

-          College degree in any field.
-          Translation tools experience is highly desirable, especially 
Trados.
-          Must take mandatory translation test.
