· Experience with Sharepoint Portal 2007 (MOSS) in Architecting, Planning, Designing, Developing, Testing & Installation
· Prior experience in Designing and Developing SharePoint Portals (version 2007 and 2003)
· Experience in developing web services and web parts (i.e. SharePoint customization)
· Experience with SharePoint document management services and indexing
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, esp. in conjunction with Sharepoint interactivity

Job Description ------------------------------
· SharePoint 2007 Architect/Developer will build some proof of concepts for a number of projects that are in the idea stage. Main focus will be around developing and enhancing new SharePoint 2007 Portals for various internal business areas. This position will require frequent interaction with business and IT representatives.
· Position offers a full range of IT development and support for various technologies and client business lines. The SharePoint applications are web applications that support various internal business areas at client site and could be exposed to external clients.
· Minimum of 5 years employment experience with at least 3 years of SharePoint developer experience.
· Will lead SharePoint 2007 installation, configuration and custom development activities as part of a new SharePoint deployment project.
· Will leverage and apply SQL Server experience and other Microsoft technologies (.NET) to assignment.
· Will need to be able to work on their own to fulfill SharePoint development requirements.
· Will be expected to provide work estimates, technical documentation, and support notes related to development activities.
· Will be expected to mentor other team members during project cycle as client exposure and knowledge of SharePoint is limited.
· Will need to be able leverage past experiences to assist in the design and development of the site.
· Expected to use common accepted standards and best practices.
· Will demonstrate ability to provide SharePoint knowledge & experience to the client and other team members.
· Highly visible position on a strategic project as part of the client's IT Services group.
· Team environment with opportunity to gain financial experience and learn new concepts.
· Additional support available from larger onsite presence.
· Prior Financial experience with investment firms is preferred although not required.
