What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open iterm
2. hold down a key (such as 'x') and let it repeat
3. repeat the same thing in terminal.app

What is the expected output?

character insertion is as fast as terminal.app

What do you see instead?

it is slow; i see the input skip a few times as it's being inserted

What version of iTerm2 are you using?

1.0.0.20140112


What OS version are you using?

10.9

This is a dup of another bug but I can't find it; was fixed recently in the
nightly builds.
