New issue 2924 by goldmun...@gmail.com: error when copying batch of
commands from the clipboard to iterm2
http://code.google.com/p/iterm2/issues/detail?id=2924

Hi,
I noticed that when I copy a batch of commands right into the terminal the
console gets confused and runs the wrong commands. Actually is like the
command string is being mixed with the output of the previous one.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Write a batch of cp commands in a text editor. In my case 24 times:
cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture001.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture002.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
...
cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture024.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
2. Copy all the text
3. Paste the text into iterm2

What is the expected output?

$ cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture001.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
$ cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture002.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
$ cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture003.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
$ cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture004.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
$ cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture005.pdf

$ cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture007.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep
...
$ cp
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/pics/mypicture0024.pdf
/Users/gky838/Dropbox/Shared/myttwwork/seminar-rts/keep

Some shells (bash, I know) don't handle pasting too quickly very well. If
you use Edit>Paste Special>Paste Slowly, does the problem go away? If you
use the nightly builds, it lets you change the paste speed for regular
pastes with Edit>Paste Special>Paste Faster/Slower.
