New issue 2928 by
ryuu...@gmail.com: Punctuation box with Chinese input
http://code.google.com/p/iterm2/issues/detail?id=2928
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open a shell window
2. switch to chinese input (command+space)(either simplified/traditional
pinyin, or Wubi)
3. press Opt+Shift+b
What is the expected output?
The OS' punctuation box.
As in Apple terminal :

What do you see instead?
the character: ı
// LATIN SMALL LETTER DOTLESS I
// Unicode: U+0131, UTF-8: C4 B1
Or 'B' if using Wubi input
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
1.0.0.20140311-nightly
What OS version are you using?
OSX 10.9.2
Please provide any additional information below.
In OSX Lion, this punctuation window called with the same shortcut used to
work fine with iterm.
in iterm :

Since OSX10.9, the Chinese input has been murdered, many things like the
function "convert text to traditional/simplified" has been put to
the "Services" that can't be accessed everywhere like in Lion, so I suppose
the OSX API changed.
But I shouldn't speculate.
Many thanks to all of you !
