Command history not working in the latest version of iterm2

Can any one please help me on this ? I enabled "Save cop/paste and command history to disk" and it doesn't seem to work as expected. Am i missing anything here? It used to work and i don't remember the version which i was using it.

Is shell integration working properly? In other words, are you getting a blue arrow next to the command prompt? That's necessary for command history to work.

Thanks George for the clue. Shell integration was not working and after i re-install, i can see command history..
