Hi,

I can't resist, I'll install Lion as soon as it will the App Store
(and I know I'll regret it, as usual ;).

I still want to know if iTerm2, the most used app on my laptop after
my browser, will work flawlessly. Will iTerm2 fullscreen mode be
compatible with Lion fullscreen mode?

Thank you for this awesome piece of software!

Hi Renault,

My plan is to do a followup release after 1.0 that includes Lion
support. This is a larger change than I want to make for 1.0, but I'd
expect it to be ready around the same time Lion hits the shelves.

Just a followup: any updates on Lion compatibility?

Thanks!

Coming soon! The code is written, though it's mostly just fullscreen support at the moment.

Sorry to voice a little dissent, but is it possible we can still have
the old fullscreen behavior, too?

Lion's full screen mode totally blocks out any displays other than the
primary one, making it pretty much useless for those of us who rely on
multi-display setups. The old functionality, however, handled multiple
displays perfectly.

Perhaps the button in the upper right could activate the Lion full
screen mode, and a menu item could offer "full screen this display?"

By the way, thanks so much for your work, George. The app has become
essential to me. Hope you got some traffic (and donations!) from my
MeFi FPP yesterday ;)

Hi J,

You can disable lion fullscreen in prefs > general > use lion fullscreen. It's not that great for some uses, but it's on by default.

Thanks for the post on mefi! Kinda blew my mind to see that there ;)

If Lion full-screen mode is enabled, entering full screen does not
actually expand the window horizontally to fill the whole screen. Is
that intended behavior?

I've disabled Lion mode, as I generally switch to full screen
specifically to obtain a full-width window.

iTerm2 -> Options and disable "Zoom button maximizes vertically only".
