Can not fig out how to use password manager

Dear All,

         I set a session that start with a command 'ssh chwu@<hostname>' , and this ask me for the password. 

I set Account Name = chwu and Password = <mypassword> in password manager . But it does not login automatically as I open a new window. Did I do wrong ? Thank you.

The password manager won't open automatically because it doesn't know when you're being prompted for a password. You can either open it manually or define a trigger to open it for you, as described here: https://www.iterm2.com/documentation-triggers.html
