It is incredibly useful - and not just for remote terminal stuff, in
my experience R processes choke if you try to paste too much code in
at once. Better still, tweaking the iTerm defaults write options for
delay and bite size means I can work around the problem with an almost
imperceptible (to me) delay! If there was an option to swap the shift
command v key binding from paste selection to paste slowly that would
be awesome.
