iterm weird arrow

Before I updated to the newest app, this arrow didn't appear, how do I hide it?

The mark indicates shell integration is working properly and marks the beginning of your prompt.  It is outside the text area, taking up no real estate space.

However, if you want it gone, there is a check box on: Settings... --> Profiles --> Terminal
