iterm2 3.0 cursor disappears all the time and up and down key for previous input not functional

iTerm2 3.0 with default configuration   , Mac OS 10.11.5  

1. When terminal lost the internet connections , when re-connect , the cursor always disappears  .  The only solution I can have is input "tput cnorm "  . 

2. When terminal lost the internet connections , when re-connect , the up and down key for previous input is not showing anything .  This happens occasionally . 

Is there any solution I can resolve these issues  ?

I've heard one other report of this issue but wasn't able to get enough info to follow up on it. Would you mind creating a debug log and filing an issue at iterm2.com/bugs, please? You can find instructions on creating a debuglog at iterm2.com/debuglog. Thanks for your help.
