HI,

I'm using ZSH+powerline+tmux with Iterm2 (v2.9) on El Capitan. I've googled high and low but can't figure out the answer to a simple question (I see 2 threads  in the group that are somewhat related but not entirely):

The question: I've got powerline statusbar (the bar at the bottom of the window) working if I do `tmux` at command prompt but not `tmux -CC`. Is it even possible to get this to work?

What do you see when you tmux -CC? No status bar at all? Is your zshrc getting run?

Sorry! Just saw that you responded.
1) when I type tmux -CC, I definitely get tmux...and all the iTerm niceties; I just don't see the powerline status bar at the bottom of the window (the one with all the cool data about CPU load and info about which tmux session & tab you're in)
2) zshrc is definitely getting run. before typing tmux -CC, I tried running a few aliases from my zshrc; they work fine.

Any thoughts? LOVE iterm2...would love to get this to work :)

Oh, I wonder if the status bar you're talking about is actually tmux's status bar, and not zsh's. In that case, it's not possible--we do not support the tmux status bar at this time. I am thinking about how to support a status bar in general for a future release but it hasn't been fleshed out yet.

Hi,

Yes. I'm definitely talking about powerline's tmux statusbar (https://powerline.readthedocs.org/en/latest/index.html#).  Looks like this: (see very bottom of image)

Would be really neat if you got it to work. Huge iTerm2 fan, btw. Great work! It's remarkable how many people use your work day in, day out. Thanks
