I typically run Iterm2 in a half screen sized by Rectangle (formerly Spectacle). The window will gradually shrink over the course of a few hours or days by a column at a time. It does not affect any other applications and has on multiple Macs for some years.

Has anyone else seen this?

Is it related to switching between mouse and trackpad? That causes scrollbars to come and go which has been a cause of issues ike this before.

I don't think so. It only happens with iTerm2, no other applications, and my laptops are permanently closed.

Turn on debug logging and let it go until the window shrinks. Then stop it. File an issue and attach it; since it may contain a lot of private info what I really need is the  log lines around windowDidResize to including the stack trace.

Hi George,

It's been a couple of weeks since I shared the stack trace in the bug. Is there anything else you need?

Regards,
Andrew
