Hi,
I'm using item2 to connect to some Cisco routers through telnet and
I'd like to be able to use the escape sequence CRTL+SHIFT+6 (on Cisco
routers this sequence interrupt commands like ping), which does not
work.. I think that maybe it is intercepted by iTerm and it is not
forwarded onto the telnet connection, is it true? Can I tell item to
forward that sequence onto the telnet session?

Thank you in advance for any help, congratulations for this wonderful
application (it should be one of the top apps in the App Store, if it
would be in the app store :D)

It is forwarded, but this sequence works only on US ASCII keyboard layout. If you're using some international layout you may need to use a different sequence.

Tank you for the answer, I'll try to change the keyboard layout... I
had no problems from a windows cmd
Prompt, but I don't remember if it was running with EN keyboard
layout.. I could not find anything about the Cisco escape sequence for
non-US keyboards.

I've found this on the web: <I didn't get the break working on my
(german) MAC-keyboard. "CTRL-Caret-x" does the "magic">

My question is.. Does any of you know which key is the Caret???

Yes, caret is "^". The escape sequence crrl-shift-6 on US keyboard is actually ctrl-^

Ok, I've just returned home onto my macbook and I've been able to use
the escape sequence with CTRL+SHIFT+ì (the ì character has the caret
above).

Thank you very much
