After several days of use, I get the following message whenever I try
to open up a new tab or window:

Warning
A session ended very soon after starting. Check that the command in
profile "Default" is correct.

If I close iTerm2 and reopen it, the issue will go away until it
happens again. Before that, I can still move tabs and windows around
all I want but cannot create any new ones. If I close a session, I
still cannot create a new one. Is there a way to figure out why it is
happening? I'm guessing it's some sort of resource issue, but I don't
know what to look for. I have over 1TB of drive space and about 47GB
RAM free.

Thanks,
Joseph B.

It looks like the error reporting was broken 😟

Commit 1f6fded19b21e3929046f72fd31bbbbe2f0963e8 fixes it and adds a bunch more info. Get the next nightly build, due out in about five hours, and you’ll see something like this:

Will do.  Hopefully I’ll have something interesting to share in roughly 2 weeks.

Thank you!
