Short keys for switching between windows

I noticed that in iTerm2, cmd + 1/2/3.../9 are short keys for
switching between tabs, while they are used as short keys for
switching windows in Terminal.app. I think it's better to have a
option to choose between these two modes.

Prefs->Keys->Navigation Shortcuts lets you set this.
