Is there a way to always keep the tab bar displayed in full screen
mode? When I first switch to full screen mode the tab bar 'sticks'
meaning it is there without me having to press anything. I want that
all of the time. If I switch to another application and switch back,
the tab bar disappears and setting the 'tabs show up when you press
command' to 0 doesn't fix the behavior.

I have answered my own question. 'Show tabs in fullscreen' under views. Thanks!

I agree .......
Its irritating to keep cmd pressed for 3-4 sec, every time I want to
see all the tabs.
'Show tabs in fullscreen' option should be there under view,
otherwise it makes me feel lost in full screen mode.

I think what he means is that there should be an option for it to be
shown always. I would like this as well. Either a separate check box
for this or, if the delay is set to zero (or -1) then it should be
always visible without having to press the command key.

best,

What you're asking for is already in the view menu as "Show tabs in
fullscreen". I guess I should add it to prefs because a lot of people
have trouble finding it.

Why aren't tabs shown when the user uses the keyboard shortcuts to switch tabs?

The real reason is because that's how it was in iTerm 0.x and I never
thought of that. One one hand, it might be distracting to have the tab
bar come and go all the time. On the other, cmd-tab does this and it
seems all right. Can you file a feature request for this?
