iTerm tab issue - couldn't find help in other forums

Hi there,

I have been using iTerm for a while now, it happens that I got a new Mac (Ventura 13.1) and when I install iTerm (ver 3.4.19) the tab auto-completion doesn't work at all, I mean new pc with new installation has this issue, I tried to install it with brew, same issue, downloaded the package, same issue.

It seemed very easy to fix, so I did a cmd + , mapped a new preset for my tab key and it doesn't work either.

There is something very strange because when I press the tab key in iTerm, I see the window flickering and the cursor displays some magnifying glass icon.

I will leave a picture attached and a link to youtube (only 5 secs) to show you the flickering window and the icon too.

I searched for a solution in stackoverflow and reddit and it seems that nobody had this before.

I'm hoping that you can advise me on something so I can fix that.

BTW with other Terminals like kitty or Mac default one, the tab auto-completion works as expected out of the box....... and I didn't try to customize iTerm installation. Yes, I removed/reinstalled it and even deleted its library files, it didn't help. On top of this my colleagues installed the same version of iTerm in their Mac's and it worked fine out of the box.

I'm idealess, I thought on just forget about it and start using some other terminals but I decided to reach out this forum for getting help.

Disregard this... it seems that tab key was preset for "auto command completion" and that was causing the issue, realised it after comparing with my buddies.
