iTerm profile triggers sometimes miss

iTerm2 version 3.0.9

OS X version 10.11.6 

I set an iTerm trigger to play system sound Basso.aiff whenever the string "Pos" appears in a log I tail. It works, but not 100% of the time and seems to miss some instances of when "Pos" prints.  I reported it as a bug but maybe it is an error on my part?  Might anyone know a better solution?   Thank you!  -Nick

Triggers:

Regular Expression = Pos

Action = Run Command...

Parameters = afplay -v 0.05 /System/Library/Sounds/Basso.aiff

Looks like you did it correctly. It might not fire on very long lines; triggers only search three display lines. To search more, you can increase Prefs > Advanced > Number of screen lines to match against trigger regular expressions. I'll follow up in the issue. If you didn't, please attach a debug log that reproduces the issue.
