I've used iTerm2 for many years and rarely changed my configuration, but something odd is happening in 3.6.0.

- I have a transparent hotkey window always running that slides down from the top, has no window title bar, and is as wide as the screen.
- My "Default" new window is a fully opaque 90x35 terminal with a title bar.

Since the upgrade to 3.6.0, my hotkey window still works just like usual, but command-N or an Applescript to "create window with default profile" creates a first with-title-bar window that's the size of the hotkey window and at the top of the screen. All subsequent new windows are 90x35 as per the Default config, but the first one created is always the wrong size. If I close all the opaque windows, the first one to be created is still hotkey-like rather than Default. This has never happened before the 3.6.0 upgrade.

I upgraded to 3.6.1 and I've still got a similar problem. The first "Default" window to be created still shows up the size of the hotkey window, but it's not up at the very top every time anymore.

For now I've just gone back to 3.5.14, but I'd like to see 3.6.x keeping my use cases alive.

Would you mind filing an issue and attach a debug log that reproduces the problems?
