Can I move iTerm2 profiles between Macs?

I have a set of profiles on one computer and want to copy them over to
another: is there a way to do that?

They seem to be embedded in the com.googlecode.iterm2.plist file, and
I'm not sure how to move them between Macs other than just copying the
plist file in its entirety.

I assume putting them in the plist is easier or more desirable than
putting each profile into its own file in ~/Library/Application\
Support/iTerm2/ for some reason (I'm not a developer, so I'm not sure
what's involved.)
