Any way to go back to the old tab colors?

I just updated to 3.6.3beta1 and one of the updates is that colored
tabs now only show the color in the outline of the tab if the tab is
not active? Is it possible to go back to the old behavior? Or maybe
this change can be adjusted somehow. I find the outlines a little too
subtle and it's harder for me to differentiate between similar colors
this way.

I'm running 3.6.4, which I installed around the same time as MacOS 26 "Tahoe", when I noticed the change. I run iTerm with Settings > Appearance > General > Theme > Compact, and MacOS with Settings > Accessibility > DIsplay > Increase Contrast + Reduce Transparency. It looks pretty funky:

If I turn off Increase Contrast, my tabs change shape and regain their color fill.

My guess is that there are unresolved issues either with "Liquid Glass" or with the way iTerm is interacting with LG.

Are you running Tahoe?

I'm not using increase contrast. I didn't know about the compact theme, though. I'll probably switch to that anyways because it provides more vertical space.

There was a bug that caused it to use Liquid Glass tabs when “increase contrast” was on. That’s fixed in commit ff66d791e77565428797b946259736b3df624d91. Commit aad1fdaa8e14df7930d0680f85edadfda1fe04f7 draws the background color of a tab with a low alpha to make the color easier to see. I’ll release a new beta shortly where you can try this out.

Confirming that Build 3.6.6beta1 fixes the problem with compact theme + increase contrast in MacOS 26.0.1. Thanks!
