I'm on MacOS Mojave 10.14 beta (18A353d).

I upgraded to 3.2.0 and when I open the terminal, it takes between 1 and 5 seconds to open the shell. During that time the cursor turns into a beach ball.
There is nothing of interest in the console. The delay is very random and executions back to back yield different times.

I tried the nightly build, same result.

I went back to 3.1.7 and it works perfectly.

I blame Apple, but try the nightly build—it should not have this issue. I will publish a 3.2.1 this week with Mojave support.

Thomas, I had exactly the same issue.  I've just tried the latest nightly build from the 18th August and the issue goes away.

For me at least, it was the GPU renderer that caused the issues - so you can probably get rid of the pause by simply disabling GPU rendering in Preferences -> General.

Yep - that fixed it!  Thanks installed Mojave today and this was my main issue!

Hi Thomas, I am, not seeing the option to disable GPU rendering under Preferences-->General. Can you please let me know how to disable GPU? Thank you for your help.
