Dear colleagues,

The international conference "Sustainable & Resilient Urban-Rural Partnerships – URP2020" will take place from 25 - 27 Nov 2020. https://www.urp2020.eu/

URP2020 will be embedded in the German EU Council presidency in 2020 and is under the auspices of the German Minister of Education and Research. The conference is supported by renowned institutions and organization including UN-HABITAT, UrbAct, ISOCARP, JPI URBAN EUROPE.

The URP2020 - Call for Abstracts is open! https://www.urp2020.eu/

After a successful Call for Sessions with many high-quality international submissions, the Call for Abstracts is now open.

28 sessions in 5 tracks form the basic program of the conference:

Track 1: Governance of urban-rural linkages.

Track 2: Land-use management on a regional scale.

Track 3: Resilience and extreme events.

Track 4: Regional circular economies.

Track 5: Digitalization in cities and villages.

Submit proposals for a posters, pitch representation or session contribution.

Early Career Researchers (ECR) can apply for the ECR poster award.

All information about the conference, keydates, keynote speakers, agenda and details of the formats of the sessions and contributions can be found at https://www.urp2020.eu/

N.B: We are closely following the COVID-19 development, WHO and German official policies and recommendations. We hope that you and we all stay healthy and that the URP2020 will take place in Leipzig in November 2020 as scheduled. We do consider alternative forms for online participation, too. We are looking forward to welcoming you to URP2020.

Kind regards,
Sigrun and Stephan
