Dear competitors,
There has been an issue discovered in the competition validator due to which it did not correctly report all the cases when there were students in a class assigned over the class limit. The problem has been corrected and such solutions (where the class limits are not respected) are now considered as not valid and cannot be uploaded on the competition website.
There have been a few cases where such solutions (not respecting all the class limits) have been already uploaded on the competition website. They all have been marked as not valid and will not be included/permitted in the final submission. The two competitors that have uploaded such solutions will be notified directly in a separate email.
We have fixed all such solutions that were present in the milestones by moving students away from the affected classes. While this increased the number of student conflicts and the total costs in some of these solutions, there was no impact on the winners and their placements. The total costs of some of the best-known solutions at the time of the milestone have changed for a few solutions. Bellow is the updated table (new values are in bold).
