Dear competitors,
The late data instances have been published and are available at the ITC 2019 web site
www.itc2019.org.
Please note that the competition will conclude on November 18, 2019. The reference timezone is UTC-12. That is, as long as there is still someplace anywhere in the world where the deadline has not yet passed, you are on time. The final ordering of the competitors and the winners will be only based on the solutions submitted by the final deadline on November 18, 2019.
All final submissions must include a summary paper that describes the algorithm used. The paper must be in the PATAT conference paper format, presented as an abstract, with an upper limit of 4 pages. See Submission Details and Submission Format
here. The summary paper should not need to include a description of the competition problem. The goal is not to have the problem description repeated over and over again, but for the authors to focus on the description of their solution methods. These papers will be published at the end of the competition.
The submission of the summary paper (together with verification of your best-uploaded solution of each instance and an indication of whether your solver will compete for the open-source price) should be done using the
www.itc2019.org/submission page. If this page is submitted multiple times, only the very last submission will be considered. For more details, please see the
Competition Rules.
Please note that it is not required for your solver to be able to solve all the instances. You can still submit your results and possibly win some price (e.g., the 150 EUR for the best solution of one of the late instances), even when you are only able to solve a few instances.
Good luck!
Best regards,
ITC 2019 Organizers
