Java Developer with Healthcare Experience

Location: Phoenix AZ

Pay Rate: 55/hr

Duration: 6 months

Positions: 2

Description:

Senior Software Engineer Position Summary: Analyzing, designing, programming and testing software programs and applications. Working closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.

Demonstrating superior proficiency in using complex tools, platforms, languages, and application programs utilizing superior knowledge of Company(or third party) products associated to the department.
Utilizing and sharing industry expertise (e.g., healthcare, IT, etc.), understanding of the business unit (e.g., application support, code development, etc.) and the Company's business (i.e. hosting, application development, etc.).
Creating application design and code reviews processes.
Triaging defects, impact analysis, resolution planning and implementation.
Assisting in the development of improvements in procedures as well as solutions for automating manual procedures.
Participating in and recommending improvements to processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of seven years' related experience with Java/J2EE. Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred. Angular JS and simliar javascript framework experience a plus. Web services experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
