Dear Subscriber,
We would like to remind you of the upcoming transition of the IZA Network to the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER). As the deadline to manage your data preferences approaches, we want to ensure you are fully informed about the migration of our mailing lists to LISER’s infrastructure. Please note that if you want to keep your newsletter subscription, there is nothing you need to do -- your research updates will continue to arrive without interruption.
Data Migration Notice
- To ensure you continue to receive our updates, your contact information (email address and name, if provided) will be transferred to LISER at the end of a six-week notice period on February 13, 2026.
- Effective on that date, LISER will become the new Data Controller for these subscriptions.
- The migration of your subscription data is based on the consent you previously provided to receive IZA newsletters, which LISER will rely on as the new operator of these services.
- Maintaining the IZA Network's research activities and newsletter distribution constitutes a legitimate interest of both LISER and IZA under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

How to Opt Out
If you do not wish for your data to be transferred to LISER, you may opt out by managing your subscription preferences:
- Action: Click here or use the "Manage your subscriptions" link located at the bottom of this email.
- To Unsubscribe: In the settings page, please deselect all newsletters and click on the "Submit" button to save your changes.
- Deadline: To prevent your data from being migrated, please complete this action by February 12, 2026.
If you choose to deselect all newsletters by this date, your data will be removed from our database and will not be transferred to LISER. If you take no action, your subscription will be safely migrated to the LISER-hosted platform so that you can continue to receive our research updates without interruption. You maintain the right to withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time in the future by using the link provided in every newsletter.
