Technical assessment update

Greetings from Cognizant!
We are pleased to share the list of candidates eligible for the upcoming technical
assessment. Please refer to the attached excel file for the detailed list of candidates along with their respective assessment dates & slots.
Candidates will receive an email from Superset
(notifi...@email.joinsuperset.com)
with the assessment link (as per the slot) and system readiness details. Kindly advise them
to complete the system readiness check in advance and stay updated to their registered email for further instructions.
We request you to forward this mailer to the attached list of candidates so that they are informed about the assessment pre‑requisites,
do’s and don’ts, and can complete the system setup well in advance.

Mandatory pre-requisites

The technical assessment invite email will be sent to your Superset registered email ID, and candidates must use the same ID to take the technical assessment.

with the assessment link (as per the slot). Kindly ensure to follow the instructions mentioned below and perform the system readiness check in advance.

The assessment is to be taken up on the 'HackerRank desktop app'. Please ensure to install
it at least a day before the assessment. To proceed, please download the app using the link below

Important points
|
|
·
Ensure to go through the Technical Assessment details (Skills covered, section details, duration) shared with you and prepare for the respective assessment.
·
The assessment will be conducted on the HackerRank platform.
·
Use the latest version of any of the browsers (Google Chrome / Firefox / Safari).
·
Ensure your internet connection is stable and uninterrupted throughout the assessment duration.
·
Make sure to go through the comprehensive
Guide
and take up the
Sample Test
to become familiar with HackerRank platform.
·
It’s important to start the assessment promptly at the scheduled time.
·
Please note that the code written is of good quality and testable. It'll be scanned by standard code quality tools.
·
Only one attempt is available.

Do’s
|
|
ü
Shut down all unnecessary applications and browser tabs to minimize distractions and ensure optimal
system performance.
ü
Clear your browser cache and cookies before starting the assessment to avoid any technical glitches.
ü
Take the assessment on a desktop / laptop equipped with a working webcam (external or built-in) with the latest camera drivers installed
and ensure smooth internet connectivity throughout the assessment.
ü
Test webcam prior to the assessment, as it will be required throughout the assessment.
ü
Ensure a backup internet connection, like a mobile hotspot, in case of connectivity issues.
ü
Ensure your laptop or desktop is fully charged or connected to a power source.
ü
Take the assessment from a quiet area with adequate brightness. Adjust indoor lighting and camera angle to make sure the face and upper body
is clearly visible during the assessment.
ü
Have a plain background and avoid photos, pictures, curtains, clothes, and decorations in the background.

Don’ts
|
|
ü
Cover the webcam at any point during the assessment or move away from the webcam range.
|
|
ü
Have a third person present during the assessment, to avoid being reported under
malpractice.
|
|
ü
Use any other electronic device like mobile phones, headsets/earphones, ear pods,
calculators or recording devices during the entire duration of the assessment.
|
|
ü
Use AI platforms like Chat GPT for any of the hiring rounds.
|
|
|
Zero tolerance for malpractice
|
|
·
The assessment platform uses AI mechanisms to track malpractice. Any candidate found to be using unfair means (like Telegram) will be disqualified from
the hiring process, without notice.
·
Cognizant has a zero-tolerance policy for malpractice. A disqualification may be issued at any stage of the process, as and when malpractice is detected
and is solely at the discretion of Cognizant.

Note

At any point in time, if the self-profile declared by the student during the
registration process is found to be false or if the student is found to have indulged in any sort of malpractice at any stage, the application will be withdrawn.
·
The final decision on the candidate screening, eligibility for assessment, interview and final selection will be at the sole discretion of Cognizant.
·
If selected, candidates will be subject to internal audit process. In case, any observation is found to be inappropriate, it will lead to a withdrawal
of the selection.
