Role: Senior IT Project Manager - Information Security and Risk Management
Location: Elk Grove, CA
Duration: 12 months
Job Description:
The Sr. IT PM will be tasked with protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of confidential data types such as electronic private health information. The consultant will be responsible for contract management functions, including management of project resources, and tasks related to refining the client's risk management program.
Mandatory Qualifications:
7+ years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible PM Project experience applying project management (PM) principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least 4+ years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of qualifying IT PM experience
Active PMP Certificate
3+ years of applied project management experience in Information Security.
3+ years of experience in the latest Information Security trends.
3+ years of experience managing projects/efforts focused on information security risks associated with the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Private Heath Information (PHI).
3+ years of experience implementing compliance standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53/171 frameworks or other related compliance standards on Information Technology (IT) projects.
3+ years of experience in managing information security risk mitigation or compliance projects.
3+ years of experience with risk management process analysis.
Desirable Qualifications
3+ years of experience of meeting facilitation
3+ years of experience preparing and giving presentations
3+ years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects
3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity support functions such as Risk Management, Configuration Management, Incident Response, Contingency Planning, Disaster Recovery, and/or Change Control.
3+ years of experience with network security, continuous monitoring, system auditing, and security policy development.
3+ years of experience with vulnerability remediation activities, scanning and analysis.
Possession of any Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other industry relevant certifications (CISSA, CISA, CISM).
