A friend of mine is dying of diabetes. He needs a new kidney in order to
live. He's a kind and hones man, and has a right to. I'd be very thankful to
anyone who would help me with an advice where on the net or in real life can
I find a foundation which could help my friend with this. The other thing
which will help him to survive temporarily is to find an eritropoetin
preparation. It costs approximately 100$ for 15 days course. I realize that
this is not much to find, but here in Armenia $100 is a rather big sum.
If possible, please answer to my personal e-mail: vo...@internews.am.
Thank you for any kind of support

I am very sorry to hear about your friends bad situation. To be frank,
there is not much to do from Germany to Armenia. What I know is, that
there is a organisation in the US called Islet Foundation, which is
investigating new ways of diabetes treatment. You can find them on the
Web under www.islet org.
I am not sure about the social system in your country, however, I
believe that even without health insurance any hospital is obliged to
help your friend to stay alive.
Anyway, if you are asking for financial support, you do better
identify yourself with complete address to this and other newsgroups.
I am not sure, that I would support this financially because, you may
know, there are many nasty people in the Web trying to make money.
If this would be my friend, I would sell my computer to help him.
I am sorry to be so straight, however, this is my way.
Best regards to Armenia and best wishes to your friend
