Dsp100 Kenwood: impressioni????

Ciao a tutti,
qualcuno mi potrebbe dare le sue impressioni su questo Dsp della
Kenwood?
Alcuni mi dicono che e' fantastico, altri me ne parlano malissimo.
Voi che ne pensate?

io sinceramente comprerei un DSP esterno tipo quello della Contel
che secondo me è il migliore

per sentito dire (non ce l'ho) dovrebbe essere una cosa indegna, in
quanto trattasi di un primo goffo tentativo di dsp.
Il miglior DSP esterno in assoluto è il JPS NIR-12

Non si risponde mai per sentito dire!!! Il DSP "migliore in assoluto" di cui
tu parli funziona soltanto sul segnale di bassa frequenza, il DSP 100 agisce
invece direttamente sulla media frequenza, ed anche se apparentemente ad
orecchio non senti forse entusiasmanti defferenze (che non sono da valutare
appunto... AD ORECCHIO), stai certo che la selettività aumenta in maniera
considerevole! In pratica è un ulteriore stadio del ricevitore!

se devi comprare qualcosa e spendere dei soldi, cerchi aiuto da chi ne
sa di più, a meno che tu non sia così ricco da comprarli tutti .....
Detto questo eccoti alcuni autorevoli pareri su vari DSP a fronte di
una mia recente richiesta ricordandoti che un vero DSP si sente ad
orecchio ... eccome!!!
Il fatto che tu dica che non lo senti ad orecchio è un segno della sua
inefficacia.
Persino il DSP blaster che è un dsp software che gira su PC ha
risultati devastanti sul QRM !!!

Don't waste your money for the DSP 100. It's an early attempt of dsp
and
there is absolutely no comparison to the 746 or any of the recent
rigs. Your best bet is to either sell the 850 or trade it. The 100
is also grossly over priced for what it does. If you want to keep the
850, get a dsp unit from Timewave or one of the other manufacturers.

I have an IC775DSP that I recently obtained (in fact it just came back
from ICOM after minor updating was performed). I am quite
UNDERwhelmed by the DSP on the 775...which is the same to my knowledge
as used on the IC756 and IC746 (15 kHz IF DSP prior to the AF amp).
Perhaps I have gotten used to the JPS NIR12 which I have used for
years with my IC781.
The NIR 12 is SO good on random noise reduction that I use it after
the IC775 often with the NIR12 in NIR mode on all the time and the NR
in the 775 turned OFF. Sometimes I use them both, but most of the
time I just use the NIR12.
So, my opinion? Obtain a JPS NIR12 (used..they are often sold for a
good price), and try it. AF DSP can only be so good until we get true
IF DSP @ 455 kHz or above. The JPS NIR12 is as good as AF DSP gets,
and I also have a Timewave DSP 59+ with the latest firmware. It is
definitely NOT as good as the JPS NIR12 on random noise.

The NIR-12 is a very good DSP. So is the Danmike DSP-NIR. In fact,
for most of my HF and 6 meter operating I prefer the Dnamike unit. It
has filter level tuning so you can control how much distortion you can
tolerate ( the more noise reduction, the more distortion...).
You may be able to pick up the Danmike unit at a lower cost than the
NIR-12 since you live in Europe. I think the Danmike unit provides
the best audio signal and noise reduction at the same time.

Dato che ho sentito parlare di DSP blaster ti vorrei chiedere dove lo posso
recuperare (se stai parlando di un software)
P.S. per capirci io sono quello che ha scatenato un po' di tempo fa' un po'
di casino sugli algoritmi di DSP intesi come NoiseReduction
