"The Simpsons": In the episode "Rosebud," when the Ramones finish
performing "Happy Birthday" for Mr. Burns we always see the curtains
drawing on a shocked-looking C. Montgomery while a member of the band
says "Hey, I think they liked us," following which Burns tells
Smithers "Have the Rolling Stones killed!" On the "Go Simpsonic With
The Simpsons" album, which contains said track, just before the
curtain bit a Ramone says "Go to hell, you old bastard!" - a line I've
never heard in Sky's broadcasts... (Another bit of cutting: on the UK
broadcasts of "Guess Who's Coming To Criticize Dinner?" Homer's mad
tirade about how he'll never get his comeuppance ends on a sudden
fadeout - but in the original version Homer says in a friendly tone
"We'll be right back," as it goes to commercial. If this had been
placed earlier in the show it might have been retained the way Leela's
"If only I had two or three minutes" joke in a "Futurama" episode
was.)
