Winner of the Chess Box Set

Congratulations to Jim Ryan of Bellingham, Washington for being the
first Rock-it Radio listener with the correct answer to the last Rock-it
quiz. Our question was -- In 1951 Sun Recording studio recorded
the song "Rocket 88" by Jackie Brenston and his __________________.
And sold the rights to Chess records ---What was the name of his band.
The Correct answer was "Delta Cats".
We have shipped the Box set to Jim this morning and should arrive to you
in a couple of days.
The folks at listbot are having some database problems right now and they
are the ones that manage our list of members in our listener club. We are
going to hold off on the next Rock-it Radio listeners
club contests until it is fixed -- So that we can accurately get the
correct winners. Hopefully, it will just be a couple of days.

Last Call for show #152

Within the next couple of days we are expecting the latest of the Memory
Lane show to pop up here on the Rock-it. And since we do have
a limited database. We have to get rid of the old to make room for the
new. Remember, if you haven't heard shows #152 or #153 yet you might want
to give them a listen as they will be disappearing soon.
All our available shows are listed in our archives page at:
http://www.palmsradio.com/rockittext.htm

Remember also requests and dedications are always appreciated and gladly
accepted. Just e mail us with your requests at:
Rocki...@earthlink.net and we will try and get it out on the next
available show!

In the mean time that's it for
now!!!
