SDH secondo Telia

Il NOC di Telia ha risposto così alla richiesta di un cliente che
chiedeva informazioni riguardo a jitter e packet loss su una route
transatlantica:

>Dear customer,
>there is s cable cut on the Atlantic cable called TAT-14.
>This causes latencies and packet loss sometimes.
>A cable ship has reached the site and will start
>wroking on the damaged cable. We do not have a ETR on this fault yet.
>Do you want to have the ticket open until the cable is repaired?
>
>Regards

In che modo si può conciliare questa risposta con il fatto che TAT-14
dovrebbe avere una configurazione totalmente ridondata? :-)

(Guardando ora da fastweb sembra tutto a posto.)
