climate activism and theology, prof Martti Nissinen from Helsinki
University explains that the university is an independent institute that
is not based on faith. "It is not about the combination of faith and
climate but about the link between Thunberg's climate activism and
science. As faculty, we agree with the fundamental goals she propagates."

Nissinen, who is an expert in Old Testament Studies, adds.
"The Earth is God's creation, and we care for it. There are already
some texts in the Old Testament, for example, in the Prophets, that
deal with climate change. Many things have changed since the Bible was
written, but much is the same. Humans are the same, God is the same, and
the Earth is the same. Only the concerns are more severe."


Non e' la prima L.H.C. che la sig.rina Thunberg riceve:

Chiariamo un punto sulle L.H.C. non sono titoli che permettono di
esercitare una professione o altrimenti "pontificare sul tema".
Si tratta di una onirificenza (molti poltici he hanno ricevute,
restando pero' delle cime di rapa) e nulla di piu'.
Un riconoscimento di un merito di alta levatura (si spera), ma
non implica l'abilitazione alla scienza relativa. Quindi,
evitiamo battute gretine.

A proposito dei gretini, posso anche essere d'accordo che ci sono
cretini tra di loro (tipo la congressista che strilava che tra 12
anni ci sarebbe stata la fine del mondo ... era il 2009.
Ma l'avere dei seguaci cretini non ricade sulla "guida".
Dopotutto, che scelta potete avere di chi decide di seguirvi ?
