Ma ci sono anche diversi commenti contrari...

This is definitely a regional accent thing. I pronounce the T in each
of the words listed, and I'm from the south. If you are learning
English, don't feel you are doing it wrong if you drop or pronounce the
T, it varies across the country and most will understand you either
way.

I am a 70 year-old American and I have always pronounced the T. I also
teach English and most everyone I know pronounce the T. I don't really
believe Rachel's claim.

Gli stack sono LIFO, FILO quando sottili.
Le code sono FIFO, LOLI quando piccole.

Su Forvo mi sarei aspettato una sfilza di "twenTy", sia perché la
pronuncia di una parola isolata è più consapevole, diversa da quella
del parlato veloce, sia perché chi registra la propria dizione su Forvo
probabilmente è una persona che fa attenzione alla pronuncia.
Invece, Forvo mostra la varietà dell'uso americano ma con prevalenza di
"dropped T", mi pare.
