I've never heard of it. If I had heard it, I probably would have thought

Yeah, the guy was saying he could only talk like that with the other
student from Madison, that it was the local "dialect" or something. I
was shocked when he first used that expression in front of me. I could
tell right away there was something wrong going on. :D

I suppose that there's a possibility that some local slang developed
based on a misunderstanding of the term 'Mickey Finn', but if so, it may
only exist in a circle of inebriated amici.
