Cosi :

They can't say we never tried.

A parte il resto dell a frase , tried corretto per indicare il passato ?

Tradotto pu o meno sarebbe "Non possono dire che non ci abbiamo provato"

Grazie mille

Joe/Joey da New York

English as she is spoken (and sometimes written) in the US.

"English as She Is Spoke" is the common name of a 19th century book credited
to Josᅵ da Fonseca and Pedro Carolino, which was intended as a
Portuguese-English conversational guide or phrase book, but is regarded as a
classic source of unintentional humour.

Angie, Angie, when will those clouds all disappear?
Angie, Angie, where will it lead us from here?
With no loving in our souls and no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
But Angie, Angie, you can't say we never tried

Ciao, Janis

P.S. Scusate adoravo gli Stones una volta! (Forse anche ora...)

Ti sei fatto tatuare la canzone o il nome Angie?

ciao, Janis

Does this mean the song tells the story of David&Angie?
I've heard about it in the past, but I've never thought it made any sense.

What I know/read is that Jagger wrote that song for Angela Bowie. I
am not sure whether the song tells his and Angela's story or David and
Angela's story. Or maybe it has no relation to either one. Jagger
always denied it anyway. He claimed that Keith Richards whose
daughter Angela was born around the time the song was composed, named
the song.
