The situation:
AS/400 V4R3M0.
PC running W95, CA/400 V3R2M0 (on TCP/IP), ODBC driver from CA/400, MS
Access 97.
I link an external table in my MS Access Database.
This table (linked thru the ODBC driver of CA/400) is an AS/400
physical file (unkeyed).
I modify the record format of the AS/400 physical file, adding a
field.
If I link the table a second time, I can't see the new (added field).
The thing happens also on other PC's.
The only way (but I can't use it) is renaming the file on AS/400: with
the new name, the new link "sees" the new field.
