Hello Everyone !
I have a question , Is it possible to have a dual boot with Linux and
windows 2000 ? If so what are the procedures ??
Which OS Do I install first or what will be the best way to partition my
drives ? Am I going to be able to read the data on the other partition ?
I know I am asking too much but your help will be appreciated !
Thanks in advance !

Gabriel

HI!
you have to install first windows.
then, use a software like "Partition magic" to reduce your partition
and make space for linux (NOTE: u can do this using "fdisk" under
linux)
Now, install linux in the free space.
Remember! u have to create another partition, the swap for linux!!!

Bye

Strongly agreed, it's just easier.

??? You're mixing tools. When you install Windows, only allocate part of the
drive to Windows. (3 Gig is plenty for a fully installed RedHat 7.2 Linux,,
more is always nice for building big packages and saving lots of mail.

In order to repartition an installed Windows system, *then* you use
Partition Magic, or use *gated* under a Linux rescue CD (the RedHat 7.2
installation CD works fine).
