Can someone explain or point me to a location were I can find out how to
access parameters sent with my program? Example if my vb app takes a file
name as a command line parameter, how would I access it so I could open it?

Tim , you should take a look to the Command$ function in the on-line help.
By the way, we're always glad to help everybody, but you could get better
advice on an international newsgroup. The "it." in the name of this NG
stands for Italian, not for Information Technology or something similar...
