Our web site is developing a free comprehensive on-line manual of CAD
standards. It is a structured, collaborative democratic process open to
all who are interested in participating. The manual is meant to be a
resource for all within the building industry trying to make sensible
decisions regarding the implementation of CAD standards in practice.

Right now we are trying to establish the "First Principles", or ground
rules, for the development of the standards. This is done through a
series of propositions open for consideration. THese are linked to
discussions on their viability. At the end of January 2001 the members
of our web community will be asked to vote on whether to ratify or
reject each proposition.

Once this is complete, the on-line collaborative work on the manual
itself will begin. For more information, register on our site and visit
the "Synthesis" section.
