Face recognition, amazon photos etc.

La funzione di riconoscimento dei volti di Amazon Photos è veramente
eccezionale, riconosce i volti anche in coindizioni di scarsa luce, di
profilo e dei bambini nelle varie fasi della crescita; unica pecca la
funzione è limitata solo ai JPG (con i RAW, almeno i NEF di Nikon, il
riconoscimento non funziona).

Mi piacerebbe avere questa funzioneanche offline, esiste qualche
software che cataloghi le foto in base ai volti e che sia così efficiente?

Forse Lightroom fa qualcosa del genere, non ho provato, il problema è
che ho più di 1TB di foto ed il catalogo diventa enorme.

non conosco il programma di cui parli, ma come SW offline esisteva
picasa, è stato abbandonato dal produttore, ma non è da escludere che si
possa trovare ancora un sito dove scaricarlo.

Io l'avevo installato su pc, ma da quando Google l'ha eliminato
(mistero...) non funzionava più per cui anche se lo si potesse ancora
scaricare non so a cosa potrebbe servire.
Poi se avete qualche escamotage per farlo funzionare ben venga!

Appena provato e mi funziona. Lo userei se mi permettesse uno scambio
migliore con Windows Live

consiglio personale, io metterei la registrazione dei tag all'interno
delle foto. Se non ricordo male di default mette questi dati in un file
esterno.

Rispondo tanto (troppo) in ritardo solo per dire che non mi risultano
esistere altri software decenti, oltre al Picasa, che lo facciano. Anni
fa il Paint Shop Pro lo faceva (malissimo, era lento come una lumaca
zoppa) poi tolsero la funzione.
Oggi che io sappia lo fanno solo i software online, ma qui mi fermo
perche' non li uso, non voglio caricare foto personali su siti gestiti
da aziende che poi non so cosa ne facciano.
