IMO il tuo Newsreader, spesso e volentieri, non *legge* i CR (0D0A).
Per cui, e nel rispondere ad un mio post ha riunito due righe in una,
e, in questo caso, da 'X-face: ' a fine post ha fatto un'unica riga.
