Position: Business Intelligence Analyst/Data Warehouse Reports Developer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Sacramento, CA

Successful candidates will possess all the mandatory qualifications and as many of the desirable qualifications as possible:
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience developing reports using tools/products such as MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Oracle Business Intelligence, IBM Cognos, Crystal Reports or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience, preferably as a data analyst and/or architect developing large-scale, complex enterprise data models and data dictionaries with detailed data/business rules.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience working with a variety of data management tools (i.e. Erwin, Informatica, Oracle Data Warehouse, MS SQL Integration Services [SSIS]).
• Experience designing, implementing and deploying BI & DW solutions in a retirement or pension organization.
• Experience designing, implementing and deploying BI & DW solutions in the accounting/actuarial/finance fields.
• Experience designing, implementing and deploying BI & DW solutions in a California State agency/department.
• Experience designing, implementing and deploying Big Data solutions in a government agency/department, (i.e., Federal, State, or County).
• Experience designing, implementing and deploying Big Data solutions in a cloud-based BI & DW solution that has a user based of at least 200 active daily users.
• Experience managing IT projects using industry standards and best practices such as Project Management Institute (PMI) PMBOK.
• Bachelor’s degree, or a more advanced degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering
• Strong analytical skills to assess current applications and identify improvement opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
