We have a new Mainframe Systems Analyst position with a client in the
Boston area. It is a 6 month+ contract and there are 6 openings. The
candidate must be able to speak Spanish fluently. That is critical.
We are targeting around $40/hr for a rate. Please let me know if you
have any potential candidates right away. We are already sent 2

Mainframe Systems Analyst: 6 Month+ Contract (6 Openings)
Position Description:
This position will have responsibility for support and maintenance of
some of the banks most critical applications in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for troubleshooting core business applications in a 24x7
mission critical environment for the bank.
• This team is responsible for troubleshooting issues on Mainframe
(Cobol / DB2) applications. This role will be expected to dive into
the data to resolve issues, as well as identify issues on the code.
Any actual changes to the code are done overseas by a development
team. This person must have an in depth technical background with
DB2/Cobol as well as a very analytical approach to solving problems.
• Ability to understand application development and integration at a
very in depth technical level.
• This role will include an on-call 24/7 rotation. So this person
must be open to on-call work.

Required Skills:
• 5 plus years of Mainframe application development & support
experience (Cobol, DB2, JCL)
• Must be very organized, detailed oriented, and process driven. Must
have very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work in a fairly unstructured environment where
everyone is expected to wear many different hats.
• Must be fluent in Spanish. This person will need to communicate and
interact closely with the development teams in Spain.
