Role: IT Project Manager II with Casino Industry Experience 
Location: Rancho Mirage, CA - On Site.


 Casino Industry Experience Must (Please don't dump otherwise.)

Position Overview

The IT Project Manager II oversees medium to large-scale IT initiatives within a casino or gaming environment, ensuring timely, within-budget, and compliant delivery. This role typically supports projects involving gaming systems, POS, hospitality management systems, security/compliance (GLI, NIGC, SOX), and infrastructure upgrades.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver IT and gaming-related projects.
  • Manage project lifecycle — from initiation through closure — including requirements, scheduling, budgeting, and risk control.
  • Coordinate with gaming vendors (e.g., IGT, Aristocrat, Light & Wonder, Agilysys) and internal departments (Cage, Slots, Surveillance, Hotel, F&B).
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with Gaming Commission, Tribal, and State IT policies.
  • Oversee deployment of system upgrades, integrations, or casino floor technology rollouts.
  • Create detailed documentation, reports, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Communicate project goals and progress to stakeholders in both technical and business terms.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–8+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a casino/gaming or hospitality environment.
  • Experience with casino management systems (CMS, LMS, ACSC, Oasis, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of gaming regulations, IT security, and audit practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet for tracking deliverables.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar certification preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
