Client is based out of San Francisco - Remote work till Travel ban is lifted post then candidate has to relocate to SF.
Job Description:
Responsible for the technical implementation of projects to support the digital initiatives. Full system lifecycle required including development, test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable API/Micro-Services solutions to meet complex business functions. The candidate will be expected to be part of on call production support.
Responsibilities
Ø ? Work as a technical expert with clients, analysts, programmers and other team members to develop technical solutions to complex business problems.
Ø ? Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
Ø ? Prepare detailed specifications from which complex programs will be written.
Ø ? Instruct, direct, and quality assure the work of other programmers and analysts.
Ø ? Provide application support, which includes problem research, analysis, resolution, and on-call support.
Ø ? Work with QA/Testing groups to resolve issues and to ensure software quality.
Ø ? Develop and deploy API policies in Layer 7
Required Technical Experience:
· ? Experience with Layer 7 API management platform
· ? In-depth and hands-on experience with building Restful interfaces and o AUTH2.0 security model
· ? Experience with automated delivery pipelines, agile delivery and test-driven development
· ? Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (e.g. OO, functional) and in-depth knowledge of software design patterns
