Description
-this person will be doing a database migration from a legacy system (using flat files) to MySQL by writing scripts in JAVA
-QSMI prefers someone that is more jr. – mid level (preferably 3-5 years)that they can mold and mentor.
- this candidate must have heavy experience with MYSQL Database

U.S. Citizenship is a firm requirement. Job location is on-site in Annandale, VA.
Job Purpose: Develop, implement and maintain software code, application components, conduct data modeling, data migration, server infrastructure support and interfaces for web applications.
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in Object Oriented Programming as a part of a team developing comp
Desired Experience with jQuery, JSON, Java/J2EE, Java Script, Java Applets, Front-End development, SQL (either MySQL or SQL Server 2008/2012); experience with ETL tools, Software Development Process, Software Debugging, Agile Development would be useful.
SharePoint, data modeling, data migration, and complex systems development experience is a plus.
Education: Successful candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related discipline. Position requires a minimum of 2 years of applications development experience.
